Aslan: “If the Witch knew the true meaning of sacrifice, she might have interpreted the Deep Magic a little differently. For she would know that if a willing victim who had committed no treachery died in a traitors stead, the Stone Table would crack and death itself would begin to unwind.”
Narnia has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. We had the books at home and then watched the BBC adaptation in the 90s. I think stories like this resonate with me because they are bigger than ourselves, and tell tales of those who reach out for something bigger. Plus, I wouldn’t mind one day opening my closet and finding some pine tree branches.
