The Last Forest King

Somewhere deep in the forest, where the trees have stood longer than anyone can remember, this ancient stag keeps watch. His antlers have become part of the woodland itself, and it becomes hard to tell the difference between creature and forest. I like to imagine that if you’re lucky enough to see him once, you’ll never quite be sure whether he was real or simply part of the woods all along. Here is the last one.
